looks like I'm not gonna be braving this storm... gonna squeal like a little girl and run home to mommy! i really want to stay here through Irene, but gale force winds and complete loss of power just doesn't sound too appealing now, does it?
and about that East Coast earthquake a few days ago... the Californians were looking at us like were were little sissies, but in reality, WE DO NOT GET EARTHQUAKES......
EVER!!! i personally didn't feel it (i think i was driving at the time), but it was apparently felt in my city, alllllll the way down here in southeastern NC. so to you people who think the East Coast overreacted to this minute 5.9 earthquake, well,
shut up.

It really is a rarity to have earthquakes here, especially ones that span from washington dc to southern NC to chicago IL to CANADA! so shut your face, California.

let us overreact about stuff because we can. we have a freakin hurricane that we already have to worry about.
so, i will be headed home tomorrow after my second morning class, they've already posted a voluntary evacuation here at school and classes after 12 are canceled. kinda bummed i'll be missing it, though. oh well.

My poor cousin in New York had to evacuate his building. I believe it was 46 flights of stairs....
